The brief:
Due to licensing restrictions, this local winery
could only sell product wholesale or via a website (not direct from the
winery).
The
solution:
Build a basic site
to take orders direct from the public (a
legal solution).
The site uses simple Flash animations to showcase the wineries great products,
and a simple order interface to minimize costs.
|
The brief:
Selling a large amount of products to remote communities meant a
lot of time (and money) was spent sending product brochures north.
The solution:
Build a simple "brochure" style
site that showcases to remote clients the range
and
diversity of products offered, thus
cutting down on phone time (answering questions) and cost (mailing
brochures). The site uses a full Flash interface, as well as some
creative photography (also done by Pixel Creative) to get a great
light feel, while still giving an overview of products on offer. |
The brief:
A very successful health spa targeting overseas visitors needs a
web presence to match their real-world stature.
The solution:
Build a clear, clean, relaxing site showcasing the professionalism
and quality of the salon, and matching their corporate image. Using
a full Flash design allowed us to create the bubble effect quickly
and cost effectively, greatly enhancing the user experience.
|
The brief:
Being one of Cairns' most awarded beauty salons meant it was imperative
to have a high quality website. The site also needed to compete with
the Ella Bache Australia website (with a budget of many thousands
of dollars).
The solution:
Using a Power Flash website, this site has won praise from the Ella
Bache system for it's high quality design. The budget for the finished
product was also several thousand dollars less than it's peer sites. |
The brief:
As a local band with a growing fan base, Locotus needed somewhere
fans could meet, download music and post comments for the band -
and online was the way to go!
The solution:
The solution: A fully database driven website was built. It incorporates
message boards, news pages, music and photo download areas and much
more. Through this interface, the band members are able to update
content constantly without needing professional help. |
The brief:
As a start-up internet business, with nothing more than a couple
of rough sketches, a complete corporate identity was needed. Add
to this a catalogue of available products, plus the ability to order
from anywhere in the world.
The solution:
In under a week, a complete corporate identity was
born. Over time, as the product list expanded, a java based shopping
system was added, as was our custom currency conversion utility,
making the site truly international. The site is based on flat HTML
code for absolute fastest load times, but doesn't lose out on feel
either! |
The brief:
This local sign builder had an existing site that was not only out
of date, but that did not represent the strengths of the company.
A completely new look and feel was required.
The solution:
A simple, smart and bright new design was created. Using flat HTML
code, the site is ultra fast to load, but through the use of neat,
clean images gives a cheerful feel to the site. |
The brief:
As a start-up training business, Crew Pacific needed to be able to
get both captains and staff to be able to view all the relevant information
from anywhere in the world. With the cost of satellite communications
($2 per minute phone / fax), the internet was the way to go.
The solution:
A clean, clear site was created, outlining all the relevant information
for both crew and captains, as well as providing forms for completion
and enrolment. Because of the cost of satellite communications, speed
of the site was paramount, so a flat HTML build was used. |
The brief:
Develop an Australia-wide Business for Sale website. Or, more correctly,
re-develop it! The previous site (built by another developer) collapsed,
leaving this completely online business stranded. A new site was
required, and quickly!
The solution:
The new site now incorporates all the features of the previous version,
plus many more great management tools. It features full database
backend, live credit card processing (with SSL security encryption),
full member profiles, error checking, picture upload facility and
more. . |
The brief:
Build a standard business site, with one extra feature: online bill
paying. That was the request from Koch Brokers.
The solution:
By coupling a standard HTML website with the requested bill paying
option, then adding an online quoting service, we have given Koch
Brokers the ability to offer a higher level of service - previously
only available from corporate giants in their industry. |
The brief:
As an international label, a local level website (for the Cairns
and Port Douglas outlets) was needed to allow visiting clients to
order again once they arrived home. The site needed to convey the
size of the company as well as showcase the unique range of styles
on offer.
The solution:
A full Flash interface was built, including a Flash based product
catalogue that allows visitors to view all the different styles and
designs on offer. An order form was also attached, for convenient
ordering. |
The brief:
A local tourist attraction needs a website. Especially when it also
sells to the locals, on the general public and corporate levels.
A simple site showcasing the fun that is kart racing was needed.
The solution:
A Flash animation was used to create a feeling of speed on the site,
while still using corporate images and logos to keep a constant feel. |
The brief:
As a wholesaler of Australian products with a huge and ever-changing
product line, brochures are a costly (and always out-of-date) alternative
to a good website. What was needed was a site that allowed both wholesale
and retail customers to purchase online, as well as the ability to
add not only new products, but whole products lines at will.
The solution:
A full database driven shopping cart was built, allowing the owners
to add new products, process orders and more online. By using a member
login, wholesale customers have access to wholesale prices. Without
a login, the user only sees retail pricing, ensuring that wholesale
customers are not disadvantaged by the manufacturer selling direct
at wholesale prices! |
The brief:
Being a renowned 5 star chef and winning multiple awards has been
great for this local seafood wholesaler. But, with clients and suppliers
all around Australia, there needed to be a way to showcase the staff,
the premises and the processes that make this business a winner.
The solution:
After hours snapping off photos in the cool room, a huge base of
images was available to completely showcase every facet of the business.
Small Flash animations were used to pack as many photos in as possible
(as requested) without over crowding the layout. And to add a special
touch, we included a branded Pantacchinis board game, also developed
in Flash. |
The brief:
As a recruiting and professional editing company, a clear, clean
and concise site was needed to showcase to clients and position applicants
alike the services and opportunities that exist within this fledgling
company.
The solution:
A quick, clear and clean site, minimalist in both graphical and text
elements, with a focus getting the information across in a no-nonsense
manner was created. Designed to be the primary port of call for all
office enquiries, this site is simple to use and simple to update. |
The brief:
To develop a neat, clean site to show the professional, non-sleazy
nature of a local singles networking club.
The solution:
This site not only tells potential members why they should be joining,
but also shows them how much more professional, clean and friendly
the Sinclub is. Combined with a sponsors section, the site is a major
part in the clubs marketing push. |
The brief:
An existing site was in place, but the content was well and truly
out of date. Also, something was needed to spice the site up to increase
enquiries and booking.
The solution:
Sticking to the original design saved having to re-brand the website.
New features and pages were added seamlessly in to the existing site
structure, including a media download gallery and live on-site currency
conversion utility. Through another innovation, enquiries were boosted
to many times their previous level, increasing sales and more than
paying for the upgrades. |
